ISSA Conferences as an International Meeting Place

International arrivals: Zhenjiang is a city near Nanjing and not far from Shanghai, both of which can be reached easily by international airlines. These two cities are certainly worth a longer visit before or after the conference. Among their touristic attractions are: the Confucius Temple and the Mausoleum of Sun Yat-sen, who is viewed as the father of modern China (Nanjing), and the Bund, the famous boulevard along the river Yang Tse, and Xintiandi (Shanghai). If desired, on July 2, some Chinese students who speak English can show you around in small groups.

In addition, we will make sure that on June 28 there are some shuttle buses available that can take you from Nanjing Lukou International Airport or Shanghai Pudong International Airport to the campus of Jiangsu University, and on July 2, they can take you back.

Hotel accommodation: From June 27 to July 2, housing will be provided on campus at the University Hotel of Jiangsu University. This arrangement will be included in the conference fee. If you want to stay in Nanjing or Shanghai before or after the conference, you can easily book your own hotel accommodation in accordance with your own wishes via the Internet.
